What you can expect from me:

  • I will provide a competent and professional session.
  • I will return messages promptly.
  • Clients will be treated with respect and dignity.
  • I will charge a fair price for my services.
  • I will work within my scope of practice.
  • I will stay current with information and techniques.
  • If I need to cancel an appointment, I will notify the client within 24 hours. 
  • I will not diagnose.
  • Privacy and confidentiality will be observed at all times.
  • My equipment and supplies will be clean and safe.
  • Personal and professional boundaries will be respected at all times.

My requirements of clients:

  • Sessions will begin and end at scheduled times.  Sessions begun late due to the client arriving late will end at the appointed time and be full price.
  • Be clean, having showered the same day as bodywork.  Do not wear oils, lotions, perfumes or scented products.  Do not smoke or drink alcohol prior to bodywork. 
  • Clients will provide a health history and update when necessary.
  • If cancellation is necessary, please give 24-hour notice or you will be charged for the appointment unless it can be filled.  Emergency cancellations will be determined at the therapist's discretion.
  • Payment is expected at the time service is rendered.
  • Sexual harassment will not be tolerated.  If the therapist's safety feels compromised, the session will be stopped immediately.

Some tips for a better bodywork experience:

  • Do not eat much for one hour before your appointment.
  • Drink plenty of fluids 
  • Respect your body's limits, honor it's messages.
  • Be responsible for your health, no one else is.

Covid Preparedness Plan

It is our goal to provide both our staff and clients the safest environment possible during this time of COVID-19.  We have spent hours reviewing research and suggestions by the CDC, MN Health Dept and our own national massage association, recently completing an 8 hour Continuing Education course 'Preventing Disease Transmission in a Massage Practice: Core Concepts for 2020 and Beyond' which highlights protocols for Covid-19.  The following are the additional steps we are taking to provide a space that keeps the risk of contracting COVID-19 as low as possible while providing our services.


  • Your massage therapist is fully vaccinated.  
  • Currently we are only taking vaccinated clients.
  • Both staff and clients are required to wear a mask at all times.  If a client does not have a mask they will be provided with one.

  • All staff and clients will be required to immediately wash their hands upon arrival. 

  • Of course your therapist will continue with diligent hand washing directly before and after each client.

  • All table linens will be fully stripped down to the massage table upholstery, which will then be sanitized in between clients as well as the areas that were touched by the previous client or therapist.

  • A HEPA filter will be running in each treatment room.  These filters have been researched to be able to filter viruses in the air. 

  • All common areas will be sanitized before and after each client.

  • All trash cans will have a lid with a foot pedal to open.

  • All linens will be transported in a closed linen bag to our laundry room.

  • Please note that although we will do our best to provide you your full table time, appointments may be shortened up to five minutes to allow for the additional sanitation that is currently required.
